This is the sunset from I-10 as I was driving home from work. It's only significant in that it's about the last one I'll see while driving home for six months....I really don't like driving in the dark, and that's what's up. That, and watering after dark. As you can see by the rattler a couple entries down, that might be downright risky. Brrrrrr.
Here's the Texas Ebony we just planted at the Arboretum Sunday. Its name is Tex. Of course.
I just realized today that the trees I'd been admiring in the Tucson Newspapers parking lot... are Texas Ebonys.
